Monitoring a cow's activity & behaviour

Video description:

Judith Roelofs of HAS University demonstrates the different parameters measured by a neck collar and leg tag, and how you can use these to improve heat detection and health status on your farm. Gerard Griffioen, the inventor of CowManager demonstrates the many parameters it measures including; activity, temperature, feeding time and lying time. Mirjam Westeneng, a Dutch CowManager user then discusses how the ear tag has improved management of her herd and freed up time. Finally, we hear how Nedap’s global positioning technology can be used to locate cows within a barn, and how this has saved one Swedish farmer a lot of time locating cows for insemination.
