Jan van Tillburg, an organic goat farmer in Holland, utilises EID (electronic identification) in his goats by using a sorting goat for efficient grouping of animals. Jan is now able to graze the goats throughout the summer in different groups. EID is also used in the rotary milking parlour to assign milking data to individual goats to optimise feeding and breeding.
